However, adding events was never the goal simply for the sake of filling a calendar. We wanted to make those events worth your time. To accomplish this, it means:
- Bringing in quality speakers who understand the challenges facing our businesses
- Delivering relevant education and resources you can actually use
- Creating opportunities to build relationships with peers and other professionals who understand this industry
- Continuing to expand the training and workforce resources available to our members.
I'm extremely proud of what our Board, team, volunteers, sponsors, and members have accomplished already this year, and we are definitely not slowing down. North Carolina Security and Low Voltage Association (NCSLVA) is our next opportunity to come together, and this is particularly meaningful.
Don gave an extraordinary amount to this association and our industry, and I can't think of a better way to honor him than to have a tremendous turnout from the industry he spent so many years supporting. If you haven't registered yet, please don't wait. Put together a team, become a sponsor, invite your industry friends, and help us make October 1st a day worthy of Don's legacy.
In addition, planning for 2027 is well underway, and we have already confirmed our Q1 Meeting & Hurricanes Game, the 2027 Annual Convention, and the Summer Summit. Please see below for details. We are working now to make next year's calendar even stronger and continue raising the bar on what NCSLVA delivers to our members.
There is real momentum behind this association. We are no longer talking about what NCSLVA should become. We are building it, and we want every member to be part of what comes next.
