One of the things I am most excited about is the level of involvement we are seeing from our members. Our 2026 events have experienced phenomenal engagement and participation, and it has been encouraging to see so many members stepping up to collaborate and support one another. From educational sessions and networking opportunities at the Annual Convention to the upcoming Workforce Development discussions at our Summer Summit, the momentum surrounding NCSLVA continues to grow stronger.
This year, we have also introduced new quarterly events designed to create even more opportunities for members to stay connected and engaged throughout the year. These events allow us to bring valuable education, industry discussion, and networking opportunities to different parts of the state while continuing to strengthen relationships across our membership.
Another major milestone for our association is something we have not seen in quite some time, a completely full Board of Directors! This is an incredible accomplishment and a direct reflection of the passion and commitment our industry leaders have for the future of NCSLVA. Having a fully engaged Board positions us to continue growing the association, expanding member value, and creating new opportunities for our industry throughout North Carolina.
At the same time, we are always looking toward the future. One of the greatest strengths of any association is leadership development, and we would love to hear from members who may have interest in becoming more involved and potentially serving in leadership roles in the years ahead. Whether through committee participation, volunteering at events, or future board service, there are many ways to help shape the direction and success of NCSLVA.
The continued growth and success of this association would not be possible without your support and engagement. Thank you for your involvement, your commitment, and your belief in what we are building together!
I truly believe the future is bright for NCSLVA, and I look forward to continuing this momentum with all of you.
Sincerely,
Mark Russell
NCSLVA President
